20/03/08 Cretanresidences have moved. I am new to this forum and moving to Crete in June 2008, the estate agents in Crete have been very good , I intend to put a comment on all estate agents I have visited in my week stay on 1st March 08, it is about 3/4 yrs since I last visited crete but I had a list of estate agents which I got from the tourist information office in december 07, I visited Cretanresidences office it appeared to be closed I asked at the shop next to it and they said they have moved! and a new estate agent is there now - but it was closed. Check via phone before you go where they are, it will save your legs walking Faye
19/03/08 The lady answered my e mails and even offered to sell my property for me, so no problems and I have now found a suitable property with another estate agent Name Supplied
01/03/08 Although they seem to avoid certain questions, like info on properties, where they are, what size etc, they have now moved into the centre of Agios Nikolaos, BUT A NEW estate agent www.newland-realestate.gr has started up in thier old office at Epimendou Street near the bus station, and the owner has the SAME Surname as Yiannis, I did email Newland to see if they had any propeties that I might be interested in, he was helpful, but very strange the newland real estate says they are no relative or anything to do with Cretan Residences. 28/06/07 Thank you. We are moving to Crete soon having bought our house through Yiannis and Wanda. From the very beginning they were efficient, helpful, were able to answer all our questions and helped to overcome our concerns about buying property in a foreign country. The purchase went through very smoothly and we were kept informed all along the way of what was happening.

19/06/07 Well what can I say we were taken eveywhere we didn't want to go. We were shown land we were not interested in, we were not allowed to go near the office. We will not reccommend these people at all. I had a friend with me who speaks Greek and he didnt trust them at all. Will never use them Name Supplied
06/03/07 Not recommended, had dealings with Wanda, seemed ok on 1st viewings, on 2nd viewing to see lawyer & give deposit not forthcoming with info lots came to light she hadn't told us about the property! and different estate agents selling same properties 1000's of Euros cheaper. Will not let you go to their office always insist on collecting you from somewhere else. Unfortunately I cannot deal with underhandedness and eventually purchased from another estate agent in Crete Name Supplied
13/01/07 We viewed a house with Cretan Residences and fell in love with it. From then both Yiannis and Wanda have helped us with all the legal issues.We believe the help given was second to none and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for property to buy on Crete. 14/12/06 Cretan Residences are the finest real estate agency you will find, I live in Australia and bought my little village house over the internet without even seeing it putting all my trust in the agency, they where helpful, pleasant and I felt I new them through our emails, they found me the most gorgeous house In a village which in the photos looked great so I went ahead with the puchase with Yannis and Wanda doing everthing they could to make as smooth transaction as possible. Yes I was a bit sceptical thinking what have I done but these were quickly put right when in October of this year I went over to Crete to see my house and there she was in all her glory and what a buy! I couldnt have asked for a more glorious house with its cosy atire this agency is so honest and helpfull nothing is too much for them to do for you and even now they look after my home for me. I trust them whole heartedly and reccommend that if there is any one looking for a place to buy in Crete contact this agency and experience their service for yourselves.
